Identification Signs

Fire Extinguishers can also be accompanied by an Identification Sign (ID Sign). Although not required, these are important because they help identify the type of extinguisher and what it can and can't be used on. There is no specific minimum or maximum height for ID signs - they should simply be placed directly above the portable fire extinguisher.
